Explanation:
As the 'Home' Page was getting just a little too slow to load, I'm going to see if I can't make the thumbnails a little more organised here, and list them by class and order.
Because taxonomic levels are inconsistent, I must point out nested classes - for our purposes, as the superclass Tetrapoda is nested within the class Sarcopterygii, the four classes contained therein (Reptilia, Aves, Mammalia and Amphibia) are in two classes - in the case of Aves, which nests firmly within the Reptilia, three.
To keep things from getting out of hand, we'll be displaying nested classes as follows
- [SARCOPTERYGII] Mammalia
- [SARCOPTERYGII; REPTILIA] (Archosauria) Aves
and
- [SARCOPTERYGII] Reptilia (Lepidosauria)
Within this complicated system of classes, orders are listed as an underlined secondary point.
